Dear Patients:

After sixty-nine years of providing comprehensive medical care to generations of families, the Falls Church Medical Center (FCMC) will close it doors on August 31, 2016. It has been a pleasure taking care of you and your loved ones.

It is our hope that you will remain as part of our family and continue to visit with our Internists, Dr. Pamela Kasenetz, Dr. Adrian Uy, Dr. Neil Vidwans, and Kristin Vidwans, PA. They will open Arlington Medical Associates near Shirlington Village in Arlington, VA. The doctors are excited to move the practice into a newly renovated office in the Shirlington Gateway Building, located four miles from our present location. While the name will change, the high quality of care and genial attitudes will continue to reflect what you all have come to expect from the FCMC family.

Dr. Oshinsky will join the Veterans Administration Hospital in D.C., Dr. Dollard will continue to see patients at his Sterling office, Dr. Golomb will join the Skin and Laser Surgery Center on June 30th and after thirty-seven years of practicing Urology and serving as the FCMC Medical Director, I will retire.

If you plan to continue with Dr’s. Kasenetz, Uy, Vidwans, and Kristin your records will automatically transfer to Arlington Medical Associates. There is nothing you will need to do. If you would like a copy of your medical records, you will need to complete the records transfer form which can be found on our website (www.fallschurchmed.com) or by clicking on this direct link http://fallschurchmed.com/pdfs/Release of Medical Information.pdf. We advise that you request records dating back to the last three years. Please remember to sign and date the form prior to mailing, faxing or dropping it off at FCMC. As required by Virginia statute, FCMC needs to keep the original medical records. We may only provide a copy. There will be a charge for duplicating all medical records.

On behalf of the physicians, I want to thank each of you for the trust you have placed in us to provide your medical care. It has been on honor to serve your medical needs throughout the years. I wish you the very best health and much prosperity in your life ahead.

Sincerely,

Iver Kasenetz, MD, FACS
Chairman
